The 1st Annual symposium convened researchers, students, and practitioners from all sectors of global health to exchange ideas about how to conduct, share, and translate innovative health promotion in low-resource settings. The Symposium featured speakers covering:
- On-the-ground experience with the Ebola epidemic
- Telehealth – eye health in global settings
- HPV and cervical cancer – women’s health in low-resource settings
- Technology and health – technology assisted behavior change
The conference also included panel discussions, presentations, and posters by experts in the field that can inform domestic and territorial health.
